Sunday School Classes: Meet 10am on Sunday Mornings

Contemporary Christian Study Group (CCSG):

The CCSG is a small but close-knit class at Saint George Methodist Church, focused on Bible-centered lessons with real-life applications. The group offers a supportive environment, sharing prayers and encouragement as members face life's challenges and work toward becoming better disciples of Christ. Visitors and new members are always welcome! We meet on the second floor of the back hall in the Contemporary Adult Classroom.

Serendipity Class:

The Serendipity Sunday School Class meets each week in the welcoming Claudia Kizer Classroom of the Wamer Building, offering a warm environment for fellowship, learning, and community. Led by Peggy Phalen, this class draws a diverse group of men and women from various generations, each bringing their own perspectives and experiences. Lessons are shared through a blend of engaging formats, including video-based studies from respected Christian teachers and carefully prepared lessons by class leaders. Whether you're looking to deepen your understanding of the Bible or connect with a supportive group, the Serendipity Class welcomes all to join in this enriching time together.

Willing Workers Class:

Tailored for ladies aged 80 and older, the Willing Workers Class offers a welcoming and thoughtful environment for deep discussions on the Bible. This class, one of the oldest in the church dating back to the 1870s, provides a supportive community where members can share insights and experiences. We meet on the first floor of the Back Hall.

Wesley Fellowship Class:

This class is designed for men and women aged 70 and older, exploring the rich Wesleyan heritage through various Bible studies. It's a welcoming group that encourages thoughtful discussion and spiritual growth. We meet on the first floor of the Back Hall.

Carlisle Utsey Class:

This class is open to men of all ages and meets in the parlor of Parler Hall. Join us for insightful discussions in a welcoming environment.This class is designed for men and women aged 70 and older, exploring the rich Wesleyan heritage through various Bible studies. It's a welcoming group that encourages thoughtful discussion and spiritual growth. We meet on the first floor of the Back Hall.

Open Circle:

Open to young adult women and men, ages 20-40, this group meets on the second floor of the back hall. We welcome anyone seeking fellowship and growth.

Junior and Senior High:

Our Junior and Senior High students are invited to join us for Sunday School, where we offer engaging lessons and discussions tailored to their age group. This is a great opportunity for youth to grow in their faith, connect with peers, and explore Biblical teachings. Classes take place on the second floor of the back hall.

Children's Sunday School:

Our Children's Sunday School class is for 2 years through 5th grade. The class features Bible lessons and fun games to engage young hearts and minds. Before Sunday School begins, the children have choir practice at 9:45 AM. We welcome all children to join us for learning and fun!
